I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Mine kicked off on Friday at The Fewer Finer Townhouse where we hosted our Annual Archive Sale - this time in a new format where we went old-school style and had people line up at the door - first come, first served! It was so much fun to see our clients, meet new ones, and still have a good number of pieces left that went online Saturday morning. There are still a handful of great things, at huge discounts up to 60% off that you can shop here. Some of the best of what’s left:

After that we headed out to Bellport to continue settling into our new place out there. We had a Saturday of contractor visits from the exterminator, HVAC guy, gardener, and a few more. The place is coming together! We got to host our friends for a nice Sunday lunch, swim in the pool, and still really enjoy a summer weekend out there despite all the work we were doing. I have lots of thoughts I want to share in this letter about all things home/kitchen/design, so you can expect that in the coming months. I’ve never shopped so much or received more Amazon deliveries than I have in the past two weeks.
With that, I’m back to basics with a typical style of this letter, which is to tell you about five fine things I’m loving and think are really worth sharing!
I am so happy with my new purse from a brand I’ve been seeing on Instagram. With 10% off your first order, it brings the bag to less than $300, which I think is great for the quality. I loved the red since it’s a deeper color that works well for multiple seasons and am really impressed with the leather quality. I will say the suede inside the bag feels a bit cheap to me, but I wouldn’t expect more considering the price. I think the ecomm photos don’t do justice to the fact that you can also wear it un-cinched and give the bag an even more casual shape.
I got two new blowdryers for Bellport and was deciding which one I want to keep in my bathroom and which one I’ll put in the guest room. Both are beyond what I expected from them! I got them from L’ange because they’re affordable, lightweight, and streamlined. I got the HaloRing, which I really like because it comes with a magnet thing that allows your to put it up on the wall (I put mine inside the linen closet), which makes it so easy to use and you don’t have to deal with untangling the cord all the time. It’s also so lightweight and just straightforward which is what I want out there. I also got the HauteAir (now on sale!), which has more attachments and is kind of like an affordable Dyson with a few attachments. I also love the light weight of this one and that it has the pick and straightening attachment. I put this in the guest room because it’s more versatile for different hair types. I first heard of the brand because I heard this product is great - I didn’t end up getting it, but now I’m curious to try!

The magnetic wall mount is what made me keep this one for my bathroom. Ayoh Mayo and a Subscription to “The Club”
I have been a fan of Molly Baz for a long time, since her days at Bon Appetite! I always watch her cooking videos on IG but rarely made the actual recipes. I also got to work with Molly to make she and her husband matching gold Custom 3D “Boots” Charms that represent their son, who is nicknamed Mr. Boots. Recently, I joined “The Club” which is her subscription membership to her recipes. I love the way she cooks seasonally and makes approachable but fun things. With her top of mind, I finally picked up a bottle of Ayoh Mayo, her new mayo brand, at Whole Foods and as someone who doesn’t really love mayo, I am so surprised to say it’s so good! I’ve used it on tuna salad and chicken salad and in dressings and all have been fab. They have so much flavor in them, I didn’t even include much more than the chicken/tuna/basic dressing of olive oil and lemon. I can imagine they’re great on sandwiches too. I tried and loved the Dill Pickle, but if you’re really into mayo you can try the variety pack here!

The design process for making Molly’s custom boots charms! I first discovered this brand when I was at the Vermont General Store this winter and bought a massive salad bowl. I love that, unlike some of my nice looking serve wear, it is really light and easy to wash, which is convenient for something so big! I love having it on the counter full of things we get at the local farm stands and that I can also use it for salads. I just bought another in the small size which is more of your typical salad bowl size, along with these great oval shaped plates and these bowls which are perfect for yogurt or snacks. I love enamel wear in the summer because you can use it outside easily (not glass), give it to toddlers, and it works well with cold food. In the winter it’s not as great because it doesn’t hold heat well and can be hot to the touch, so I don’t use it to serve anything hot.

Embarrassed by the lack of food styling and bad lighting here, but it’s a quick snap I had of the plates and (small basin sized) salad bowl! These dish towels from Hawkins New York are my absolute favorite. I discovered them at Big Night, our neighborhood store for all things kitchen/dining/hosting. They are the most absorbent of any I’ve tried and seem to never stain, and I can’t live without them! I recently got another two packs for our Bellport house.
Oh, and one thing I’d love your help with: I am planning on finding a graphic designer to do some branding for the newsletter so it’s not so elementary and even get’s a real logo! If you know of any designers working on projects like this, or have someone to recommend, please let me know!
Talk soon! xx, Madison

I think Tori Simokov (who writes Window Seat) does design/brand identity work - pretty sure she just did Liv Perez's Substack! https://v1projects.com/
I need to see more of this Bellport house 😍😍
